Priyanka Chopra doesn’t want to be Salman Khan’s fan?
The actress refused a role in a short film commemorating 100 years of Indian cinema

It’s not been long since there were stories about Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra’s new grown friendship but it seems Priyanka is playing safe now.

The actress has refused a role in Anurag Kashyap’s short film where she was supposed to play a fan of Salman.

Reports in Indian media suggest that the actress doesn’t want to be seen as Sallu’s fan. Really now!

Only a month or so ago Priyanka shared the stage with Salman Khan in Dubai and seemed perfectly comfortable dancing with the actor. Wonder why she is getting suddenly super-conscious.

Anurag Kashyap’s short film is as part of a feature film to be co-directed by three other directors to commemorate the 100 years of Indian cinema.

Apparently, the script that was narrated to Priyanka needed her to play a huge fan of Salman Khan. According to reports, although Priyanka was initially excited about the part, she refused to go ahead with it because of her closeness to Shah Rukh Khan.

Who does not know about the trouble between Salman and SRK; Priyanka might have thought that playing a role of a Salman fan will not go down well with her close friends.

Priyanka surely knows how to play it safe.

Anurag thus shelved the short film and moved on to make it with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.

The story will feature a fan who comes from Allahabad to Mumbai in search of his favourite superstar.
